I acted on my own as the sole freelance designer for this job.
The work on the design and visual identity of the Miellerie de l'Herbaudière aimed to modernize the labels while respecting the old designs and incorporating the Château de l'Herbaudière into the visuals. The goal was to maintain an artisanal spirit suited to regular market customers, with a cream color and variations depending on the types of honey, while keeping a minimalist and accessible design. The Château's logo was illustrated to preserve this artisanal aspect while adding a touch of elegance, given the importance of the Château de l'Herbaudière in the region. A serif typeface like Didot was chosen for the Château, while more modern and playful fonts were used for the digital writing. Finally, a small visual element reminiscent of honey was added to stay consistent with the product.
The project involved redesigning the honey labels to mark the change in ownership of the Miellerie de l'Herbaudière, located at the eponymous Château. The goal was to modernize the aging labels while retaining key visual elements, such as the illustration of the Château, to honor the brand's history and identity. A cream color was chosen as the base, with variations for different types of honey, all while maintaining a minimalist and accessible design suited to market customers. The Château's logo was illustrated to preserve the artisanal aspect, and a serif typeface like Didot was used to add a touch of elegance, while more modern and playful fonts were chosen for digital text. A small visual element reminiscent of honey was also integrated to enhance consistency with the product.
