Challenge
Creation of an interactive and highly responsive website for an audio visual artist. The website is made of a shop and a portfolio section, imitating her style through navigation and rhythmic animations.

My role
In that project, I was the only designer/developer working closely with the artist.
Sketches
For the website to be highly responsive, I designed both mobile and desktop versions from the ideation phase onwards. The navigation was at the center of the creation process, conveying pleasant and intuitive navigation to the user. Blobs appear randomly on the page for each user to have a unique experience (while following a specific grid to keep the consistency). The background picture changes on every page loading. The user interface also changes according to the type of device. Features such as sliders and buttons are alternatives to the cursors indicating the possible actions and other hovering states.
The use of animations gives dynamic and flowing navigation. It also supports the artist’s energetic work.
Final design
The website designed for T. Manganas is presented as a creative, interactive, and responsive portfolio. Thanks to animations and visual interactions, the website offers an exciting graphic experience and a juicy navigation. The background is made of photographs from the artist. It is also a portal to the artist’s photo-shop.
